While Larry and Scott were forging a friendship in fourth grade that would outlast most marriages and cans of spam, Raul Pina, only two at the time, was making his way from Cuba towards the U.S because Castro decided to be a dictator instead of a pitcher.
 Was it destiny that these three young boys would one day meet as men and create the world's grossest bandages? Well, let's not get carried away. We're hardly men. Just ask our wives.
Scabs Bandages is the result of a good deal of whining, complaining, should we shouldn't we's, procrastination, a few hundred naps and a bold statement that we would not leave this world without leaving something behind for future generations.
The bottom line? We just wanted to do something to solve our midlife crisis and since owning a Porsche was out of the question creating Scabs Bandages was the next best option.
Scabs are a natural outcome of who we are. Scott Pollack has been illustrator his whole life and Larry Silberfein and Raul Pina are Creative Directors in advertising.
 Scabs are our answer to that annoying aisle in the supermarket with all those happy, smiley band-aids.
We've had a lot of laughs launching Scabs Bandages. And we hope your kids (and you!) have as much fun wearing them.
Scabs Bandages are just the beginning. We want to bring grossness to everything in America. But we'll need a few hundred more naps before we get started again.
